An unforgettable Chefs’ Table with Lefteris Lazarou and Ioannis Parikos The chefs shared their culinary secrets during a signature cooking session Friends of Varoulko were taken on a wonderful culinary journey of Greek seafood discovery on Thursday, October 17th. In this exceptional event organized by the restaurant, special guests - mainly belonging to the world of media - were welcomed by Lefteris Lazarou and Ioannis Parikos with a live cooking session, where they became acquainted with cooking secrets and introduced to the restaurant’s unique flavor identity. The private events hall on Varoulko’s first floor filled with joyful guests, enjoying the welcoming atmosphere as well as the energy of the chefs, who entered the open plan kitchen full of energy and creative inspiration. Incredible memories were made when these truly magnetic culinary personalities prepared two of their signature recipes. The event was held in the company of Marina Vernicos, Mara Darmousli, Christina Kontova, Costas Spathis, Nefeli Georgala, Dormina Exarchou, Alex Kavdas, Ioanna Tsilili, as well as many other guests. The live cooking session was followed by a dining experience dedicated to Varoulko’s award-winning gastronomy, held on the second level of the restaurant, with the stunning panoramic views of Mikrolimano as a backdrop. The menu included an “Athenian” salad, grilled cuttlefish with creamy tomato rice and feta cheese mousse, grouper linguini with minced shrimps and cherry tomatoes, and John Dory with beet crème. This unforgettable dining experience came to a close with “Flower pot”, an impressive dessert handmade by pastry chef Thodoris Moisidis.
