Our project is a 5 star boutique hotel, the first in the area of PATRAS of this kind. One of the leading examples of cultural heritage was transformed to give the city a new trend in the field of hospitality.

Our philosophy is personalized hospitality and our goal is to connect with each visitor and provide them with the authentic hospitality that is culturally rooted within us. Every guest will be offered a unique and personalized introduction to our local culture and history.

This is done by exploring the vibrant neighborhoods and the urban streets of the city thus connecting with the local community.

The city has a vast past, with its archeological sites and cultural monuments, while also providing the visitor with a lively present and natural beauty. Last but not least, Patras has a bright future, with its science center and the New National road Networks connecting it to major cities in Greece.

The inspiration for the hotel’s name derived from the building’s architectural bold character which captivates the visitor right from the start!

The first owner’s main idea when designing the building was to catch the eye of the visitor heading from the ancient conservatory to Ano Poli. This was none other than Mrs Galanopoulou who was an important raisin trader of the 19th century.

The construction of the building in question is without a doubt a work of art which supplements the beautiful architecture of Patras. One interesting fact is that it was completed in three different phases.
The first phase was completed in the late 1800s, the second at the beginning of the r century and the last phase concerning most of the building took place in the early 1910s.

The completion of the third phase gave the building its special architecture.

The hotel has 4 floors and a total of 10 rooms / suites supplemented with a magnificent garden at the back.

The hotel’s color theme is primarily based on the original ones. Green, which is dominant throughout the 1st floor, combines well with the wild plantation of the garden and our Garden suite.

Red, found primarily on the 2nd floor, perfectly aligns the stones of the ancient Conservatory with our Atelier rooms.
On the 3rd floor one can admire the color blue that unites the sky and the building’s memoirs. That is where one can discover the executive rooms and the Bold Type suite.

On the 4th floor there is the Roof View which is accessible only to hotel residents and in exceptional cases can host a private event for up to 20 people.
From the roof of the building one can see important sights of Patras, the castle and the Ancient Roman Conservatory as well as the Gulf of Patras.

The frescoes on the second floor were made after its completion, around 1920. They are hand-painted and depict old marbles, a common phenomenon of that time. Some have been preserved and others have been lost over time.
