Rosey Blue is a singer-songwriter from Athens Greece.  She was born and raised in Athens, studied classical, jazz and modern vocals and she’s been singing with various bands since the age of 15.

After many years of creating and singing in jazz/blues/Νew Orleans cover bands such as Belleville, she decided to create her own music and to tell her stories and present her view of life through the storytelling of songwriting.

Mysticism, love, earth, death, constellations and pure unfiltered emotional expression are the basic elements of her songs.

Influenced by many artists of the 60’s and the 70’s mostly of the folk rock scene, such as Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Neil Young, The Band and The Beatles but also from younger artists like Jack White, Laura Marling, Blues Pills, Rosie Carney, Lola Marsh and so many others,

she presented her debut album “Swans”, released via Inner Ear, in the autumn of 2021.

This summer, with the need to express the romanticism that no longer finds a way, words and space to be expressed in today's era, Rosey Blue presents a collection of songs titled "Nostalgia Estiva" - summer nostalgia in Italian - consisting of three of her favourite Greek songs,

reinterpreted in her own style. The first of these is "To Megalo Mistiko Mou" (My Big Secret), a love song written by Kostas Kapnisis (music) and Dinos Dimopoulos (lyrics) that was first heard in the film "Jenny Jenny" (1966).

"To Megalo Mistiko Mou” is now available on all digital platforms. https://orcd.co/tomegalomistikomou
