• 1.Well, let's start with a classical question. What kind of inner need made you create your brand in the middle of crisis?

Randomly! By creating a bag for myself.

    2. Crisis. Is it something that made us better persons, or its just a myth?

I am an optimist and I want to believe that the crisis will make us better persons. Greek people nowadays, due to economic struggles have a greater need for psychological support. As a result they have increased their social solidarity and they provide support to disadvantaged social groups.

3.What have been your learning milestones starting and growing your business?

I got a better understanding of the market and what Greek modern women need, and also how to promote Greece with creative and unique ways.

4.Do you think Greece is only for summer vacation or is it a country that is worth fighting for to live in? And if it's worth fighting for, what is the reason why?

I certainly think that Greece is the most beautiful country in the world. It is worth fighting for and that is what I am trying to do. We all have to do our best so that our country becomes what it should be. One of the best places to live on earth!

5.Share with us a perfect restaurant and a fashion store in Athens, a place you would propose to your friend from another country.

“33 Adrianou” -for an amazing variety of beers and great menu in the heart of Athens, next to Monastiraki flea market.

“Ace Concept Store”- an atmospheric and unique concept store, which combines fashion clothing mostly from Greek brands, artistic jewelry and accessories and great home decorations for the perfect gift.

6.What is the message you want to send through your creations? Whats your ''stigma'' as a designer?

To be "unique" by your style and get that “Boho" touch.

My stigma as a designer is the "evil eye" that I put to all my creations for positive vibes.

7.What is Greece to you? Is it the sun, the islands, or something more than this ''cliche'' kind of thing?

Its a combination of all the above, but mostly Greek People.

8.What is your everyday agenda and how do you combine your intense business life with your personal life?

I definitely struggle to manage everything: research, finding materials, production, meetings with buyers and stores, meetings with friends and most importantly supporting my family and housekeeping. How do I combine all of these? With hard work and LOTS of love.

9.What would you change if there was a possibility to start ''ZeMa'' all over again?

Nothing. It has been an amazing journey.

    10. What makes you really angry in this country? What would you change completely?

The lack of support from the Greek government to new businesses and designers.

11.Μοther. Wife. Designer. Business woman. How many roles a woman can interpret today?

All of the above, plus many more. As long as you enjoy the role and love what you are doing there is nothing to stop you.

    12. Future plans or dreams waiting to come true?

I want to expand “ZeMa” more as a brand here in Greece, but also to achieve a place in international markets.
