Chrysokona Mavrou is an architect. She loves self sufficiency. In 2013, seven years after her first experiments in digital fabrication in architectural and academic fields, she created a micro-scale architectural self-sufficient project of 3D printed jewellery and objects, leading all fields of design, fabrication, graphic representation, package design and marketing herself.Her first collection, named “JUL” (JUL= Joule + Jewel) is inspired by the wireframes of high voltage electricity pylons. Chrysokona Mavrou, currently based in Greece, has collaborated with architects and artists in New York, Barcelona and Athens and her work has been awarded and published world-wide.
