Since she was a little girl, Ariadni Kypri enjoyed creating everything out of anything. She studied Clothing Design and Technology at T.E.I. of Thessaloniki (branch of Kilkis) and attended 2 postgraduate courses in Barcelona: “Fashion Accessories (bags, shoes, hats)” at Superior School of Design and Fashion Felicidad Duce and “Pattern-cutting for Scenic Arts and Spectacles” at Superior School of Image and Design IDEP.

Sculpting came very naturally to her from the first time she experimented with clay. Her sculptures became smaller and smaller to end up as micro sculptures and finally find an application for jewelry. This route as well as her personal need to experiment, not only with materials and techniques, but also with installation on and out of human body, contributed in aproaching jewelry in her own unique way. She aspires to continue experimenting, not only with jewelry, but also with lots of other things she enjoys creating.

Just before the ending of 2014, she opened her own space, Ariadni Kypri Workshop & Gallery, where she works and exhibits her work, as well as her mother’s, who is the ceramist Maria Marinoglou.
