My name is Nerantzoula and I create my designs from my studio in Athens, Greece. The brand Neroli was inspired by my Greek name which means “bitter orange” and Neroli is the plant oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree.
My interest in handcrafting initiated while studying law, when it became apparent that I preferred making my own accessories instead of buying them. I learned to sew at an early age from my mother who is a seamstress. Later I found myself making things for my friends and eventually took it up full time. My style is greatly influenced by my ancestors and the traditional handicrafts of my grandparents’ village.
For the last 15 years I have been selling handmade leather handbags and accessories to shops around Greece.
