Attracted very young to music, she decides to learn piano at the age of 6. Four years later, she passes the Royal Academy of Music (London) exams winning an award with distinction. In 2005, she obtains her diploma with merit from the Jury of the National Conservatory of Athens and then completes her law course wich she took contemporaneously.
Coming from a family of legal professionals, MARIA works for some time as a lawyer whilst leading also an activity as a composer for documentaries and the theater. She decides however to abandon altogether the legal profession and the law practice set up by her father and go to Paris to pursue her dream.
Once in France, she enrolls at the Ecole Normale de Musique of Paris to continue her piano formation in classical music. During the same year, she joins a course in Computer Aided Music, to facilitate composing the kind of music she feels passionate for. She develops a style between classical music and electronic sounds that she uses in her compositions for the short/feature films, theater, documentaries, advertising and audiovisual presentations.
