Despina Ricci, international electro artist, was born and lives in Paris, France. Since her childhood, she has sung in English, French and Greek.

From her first collaboration with Marc Ricci and with Pierre Zito, was born an anecdotic jungle pop song called « Essi Psefti » in 2008. The song was distributed by EMI Greece and the original video clip, shot @ hotel Costes-Paris, was diffused for months on the musical channels.

Her first electro album intitled "What I Am" is now out. With 15 songs in the CD, and 11 clips and videos in the DVD, she shares a special universe, an attitude, a feeling.. atmospheric pop.

..but also special collaborations with French directors, or international artists such as Stereo Mike or Rachid Taha.

Despina Ricci writes all her songs (lyrics and music) with Marc Ricci and Pierre Zito.

Marc and Pierre wrote songs for artists such as Yannick Noah, Marc Lavoine, Chimène Badi … and collaborated on other projects with Stephane Pompougnac, including a remix for Madonna, songs for Michael Stipe (REM), Peter Kingsbery and other guests....


The album "What I Am" is the result of Despina's, Marc's and Pierre's work, talent and friendship.
