Margarita Meitani is a Greek jewelry designer. She was born in Athens, Greece, in 1965. She studied History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Jewelry Design and Manufacture at the MOKUME Institute in Athens. 
Between 1996 and 2005 she organized and taught seminars on Jewelry Making. She also teaches History of Art and History of Jewelry at the Mokume Institute until today. 
In 2005 she opened her own workshop downtown Athens and in February 2006 she created “Handwritten Jewelry”, a collection distributed ever since in jewelry shops, galleries and Museums all over Greece and Cyprus.
